PA Programs Being a parent is one of the hardest jobs in
the world. It places constant demands on your time and patience.
At times, it can seem overwhelming and can lead to frustration and
stress. Problems can even lead to emotional and physical abuse.
As parents helping parents, we all know that at one time or another
we may have many doubts about how we are doing on the home front.
Let's face it, parents often experience one or more of the following
situations:
- Children acting up
- Personal or professional situations getting you down
- Scared that you might not be able to control your anger
- Afraid you might treat your kids the same way your parents treated
you
- Feeling unsure about how to discipline your children
You just don't know where to turn or what to do about family matters.
As parents, we need the support, understanding and guidance from
other parents facing similar dilemmas. But first, we must deal with
the crisis within ourselves.
